Born in 1988 in the electric heart of Casablanca, I learned early that music isn’t just sound—it’s a compass. By 14, I was digging through crates in the city’s shadowed record shops, hunting for the strange alchemy of oud strings tangled with synths, gnawa trances fused to broken beats.

My rebellion?

For 20 years, I’ve been a sonic cartographer.
As DJ Zak Marshall, I turned turntables into a passport: Parisian warehouses, Dakar’s neon nights, Berlin’s concrete pulse.
I collected rhythms like spells—Malian koras whispering secrets, flamenco palmas cracking like code, tablas tattooing time itself—and rewired them into something feral, yet intimate.

My gear ?

A nomadic arsenal: modular synths that mimic sandstorms, speakers that breathe like tides, lighting rigs that mirror the Sahara’s mercury sunsets.
